A message from the President of the EAGEN:
Dear EAGEN council, Members and Supporters:
Since the EAGEN celebrated its 50th anniversary with a festive event & postgraduate course in Padova, Italy in March 2020, the world has changed for us all. As chairman of the EAGEN, I am excited to state our Society has nevertheless continued the important task of providing education in GI throughout Europe. Although necessary changes in operation became imperative, the EAGEN was able to successfully conduct postgraduate courses in a hybrid & virtual format with an audience of over 1000 participants from more than 20 countries and continue its hands-on endoscopy courses. The landscape of virtual components to postgraduate teaching has brought vast and new elements and opportunities. The EAGEN remains committed to continue the path of postgraduate education in European Gastroenterology. Please check out upcoming events and please join. Our board is looking forward to welcoming you to one of our activities.
