The European Association for Gastroenterology, Endoscopy & Nutrition (EAGEN) started in 1970 with its mission to provide high-quality, CME accredited postgraduate events. As a founding member of the United European Gastroenterology (UEG) and a pioneer in organizing interactive, interdisciplinary events across Europe – providing programs with latest updates, hands-on courses, webinars & the traditional annual EAGEN Bridging Meeting in GI, catered to provide a platform for young researchers in gastroenterology – the non-profit society EAGEN has reached approx. 3000 GI experts every year.

Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand

This is EAGEN

The European Association for Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Nutrition.

The EAGEN, formerly named EAGE, is one of the founding organizations of the contemporary UEGF. EAGEN’s mission is to present interactive and highly professional teaching events on diseases of the digestive system and to provide educational exchange platforms to further expand and update the knowledge in Gastroenterology. Diseases of the digestive system are complex and often require a multidisciplinary approach. EAGEN’s goal is to structure education in GI by connecting specialists across the fields of pathology, radiology, immunology, surgery, oncology, nutrition, genetics etc.

In 2020 the EAGEN celebrated its 50th anniversary:

The EAGEN Council consists of 19 top European Gastroenterologist Specialists. Meet the professors at one of our meetings
